Advanced Drying and Mold Remediation for Agents and Adjusters is a two part course:

A/A Drying and Mold Remediation is an advanced course on how insurance companies and restoration professionals can work together to provide insureds with rapid, responsive, technically accurate procedures for loss mitigation and advanced drying techniques to prevent microbiological growth and amplification and to deal with it when it is getting out of hand.  Throughout, emphasis is placed on teaching agents and adjusters about the public health and safety issues that may arise in prolonged water restoration situations, particularly as it relates to the growth and amplification of mold.  Emphasis is placed on teaching agents, as the recipient of the notice of loss, as well as adjusters, about their insured's policy-mandated mitigation responsibility to take ". . . reasonable and prudent actions to preserve, protect and secure property and occupants from further damage and liability."  The result is a greater appreciation of how mold affects both the scope and cost of losses.

This dynamic is taught by Jeff Bishop, BBA UGA, international consultant, co-author of the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification's Standard and Reference Guides for Water Damage Restoration (IICRC S500), Mold Remediation (S520), Carpet Cleaning (S100) and Upholstery Cleaning (S300).  In addition to being an IICRC Certified Master Restoration Technician, he is an Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) and Certified Microbial Remediation Supervisor (CMRS).  It is an advanced course that goes well beyond the basics of Water Damage Restoration.  Bishop is a 30-year veteran of the restoration service industry, who has written 13 technical books and produced 6 videos on cleaning and restoration subjects.  He is the IICRC Technical Adviser and serves as a Director for the International Society of Cleaning Technicians.  He teaches over 50 courses on restoration subjects annually.  His courses have been approved for Continuing Education Credits by State Insurance Commissioners in AL, NB, IW, GA, MI, MN, MT, NJ, NY, RI, CT, NC, SC, LA, TN, TX, WY, WI, FL and several others.  He serves as an expert witness and consultant to a variety of disaster relief agencies and insurance companies.
